Silver Eagle Manufacturing Company Wins Five-Year Army Contract

Portland, Oregon (10/15/08) - Silver Eagle Manufacturing Company, the leading manufacturer of light tactical trailers, announced that it has been awarded a five-year contract to produce light tactical trailers for the U.S. Army.

Under the terms of the new contract up to 64,677 trailers may be ordered with a value of $500 million over the five year period. Production on the first $17.9 million delivery order of 2,160 trailers will begin immediately.

Light tactical trailers are designed and built for use with the Army's High-Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV).
