Silver Eagle CRCT · Cold Chain

Two degrees of drift is the difference between protein and waste.

A reefer trailer engineered as a temperature system — insulation density, airflow geometry, and reefer-unit coupling tuned to keep cargo in spec through the worst miles of the route.

Where the CRCT fits

Cold-chain freight has zero tolerance.

A reefer trailer that loses two degrees in a six-hour run is the difference between protein on a shelf and protein in a landfill. The CRCT is engineered for cold-chain operators who cannot afford that kind of swing.

Wall insulation density, return-airflow geometry, door seal compression, and reefer-unit integration are all specified together — so the system performs like a system, not like a trailer with a refrigerator strapped to the front.

How it's engineered

INSULATION DENSITY

Closed-cell foam under controlled cavity pressure.

Wall, ceiling, and floor cavities are filled under controlled conditions. No cold bridges. No moisture migration. The CRCT is engineered to hold its temperature delta through the whole run.

AIRFLOW UNIFORMITY

Engineered return path. No warm corner near the doors.

Airflow geometry is modeled to ensure return air reaches every pallet position. Airflow geometry is designed to keep per-pallet temperature variance inside spec from nose to rear doors.

REEFER-AGNOSTIC

Engineered to integrate with the unit you already run.

We integrate with the major reefer brands. Power, control, and mounting are specified to your unit of choice — not to a brand we happen to stock.

Trusted by

The country’s largest parcel fleet, the U.S. Army, and a long list of food and beverage operators have pulled Silver Eagle equipment for decades.

Built for

  • Frozen-protein and produce cold-chain operators
  • Multi-temp configurations for mixed-load grocery distribution
  • Pharmaceutical cold chain (controlled, audited temperature)
  • Long-haul cold corridors where drift is unacceptable
  • High-pallet-count operations where airflow uniformity matters
  • Reefer-unit-agnostic integration

Spec your CRCT

Cold chain, engineered as a system.

Tell our engineering team your route, your pallet count, and your reefer unit. We’ll spec the CRCT as a system around them.
